ALAMOSA – The unofficial draw for the 2025 National High School Finals Rodeo was released last week with two locals learning when they will perform.

Rivers Hill of Saguache will be competing in girls cutting. Her first run will be in the Monday morning performance, and she will have her second go on Friday evening.

Hill was the Colorado state girls cutting champion this past school year. She was also second in the state girls all-around standings.

Ben Sittler of Monte Vista will compete in bull riding. He too will perform in the Monday morning performance and on Friday evening.

Sittler finished third in the state in bull riding in 2024-25.

The NHSFR will take place from Sunday until July 19 at the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs, Wyo. The Top 15 individuals in each event following the two performances will return for the championship short go on July 19.
