Attendees will have the rare chance to step inside both completed homes and homes under construction, gaining insight into various construction methods and styles. The tour will feature alternative construction styles and energy systems including strawbale, scoria earthbag, cob, silos, recycled materials, a living roof, in-floor solar hydronic heating, and solar domestic water.
People will have the opportunity to speak directly with the builders and homeowners to learn about their inspirations, challenges, and successes in creating sustainable, energy-efficient living spaces.
