Rio Grande County Public Health is seeking two Youth Outreach Specialists for the Safer Streets program. The Youth Outreach Specialists will be part-time contractual staff who will work closely with youth and peers for outreach and support and will collaborate with community agencies to improve participation in the program’s goals and empower community prevention efforts.  The Safer Streets Grant/Program goal is partially to build youth peer support and build youth engagement, therefore candidates will ideally be of high school or early college student age, have reliable transportation and access to a computer/internet and be willing to travel to meetings around Rio Grande County.
