ALAMOSA – The Grizzly Club Membership program is now open as Adams State University kicks off its 2025-26 membership drive, inviting alumni, fans, and supporters to invest in the future of Grizzly Athletics.

“This past year has been truly special for our programs—from student-athletes to coaches and staff, everyone raised the bar,” said Athletic Director Katelyn Smith. “We’re eager to build on that momentum and see what’s in store for 2025-26.”

Adams State will kick off its fall home slate with a full day of competition on September 6. The 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country National Champions and reigning USTFCCCA Women’s Program of the Year will host the 32nd Annual Joe I. Vigil Invitational at 8:30 a.m. at Cattails Golf Course.

At 11 a.m., the men’s soccer team will take the field for their home opener under new head coach Peter Freeman, squaring off against Lubbock Christian University. That evening, Grizzly Football will face Texas Permian Basin under the lights at 6 p.m. in their second game of the season.

Grizzly Volleyball plays its first home match on September 10, welcoming West Texas A&M for a 6 p.m. showdown. Women’s Soccer, after opening the season on the road, will play its first home game on September 12 at 1:00 p.m.—also against Lubbock Christian.

“The backing we receive through the Grizzly Club directly impacts the experience we’re able to offer our student-athletes,” Smith said. “Every membership helps us compete at a higher level, and we’re grateful for that continued support.”
