DEL NORTE--The Rio Grande County Commissioners met on Wednesday, Feb. 10 for their regularly scheduled weekly meeting at the Rio Grande County Courthouse. The commissioners were updated by the custodial, land use and road and bridge departments.

CENTER-- Saturday saw 19 teams from across Colorado converge on Center High School for an action packed Valley Classic wrestling tournament.
Paonia edged Centauri in the overall standings, scoring 215 points to Centauri's 195.5 points. Hotchkiss rounded out the top three 2.5 points behind Centauri with 193 points.
