DEL NORTE — The Val Alto Study Club of Del Norte will once again present their Covered Wagon Days Pancake Breakfast at 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7.

 The club has been in existence for 53 years and some of the original members still create this fun event for families and friends.

Pat Davie has been at the ticket desk for 33 years.

The food is delicious and done for a good cause.

The club donated the proceeds last year to the Chamber of Commerce, High Valley Community Center, the food bank, La Puente, the ambulance, After Prom and the Harriete Posse scholarship.

The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. You’ll find the event in the parking lot of the Community Bank in downtown Del Norte.
