DEL NORTE, The number of students enrolled in a school district is the primary determining factor in the amount of funding the district receives from year to year.

DEL NORTE-- There was a benefit Mexican dinner and dance on Saturday Jan. 17, for Anthony Casias at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Del Norte. Casias was recently diagnosed with coronary heart disease.

DEL NORTE--A fire destroyed at least the lower half of a home on 10th and Spruce on Friday evening Jan. 16 in Del Norte. There were no injuries.
